Fiction

The Bell Jar- Sylvia Plath. I honestly have not read a book this good in so long, I can’t put it down! I think every single person should read this (every woman more specifically). It is about a woman who slowly stops sleeping and begins going insane. The story is amazing, and truly helps you to better understand something deeper. At the end of every chapter I have a battle inside myself if I have time for one more chapter.

Breathe- Kate Bishop: This book is the PERFECT read! Especially for any yogis out there! It has everything that matters- love, yoga, & dogs.

Eleanor & Park- Rainbow Rowell. I’ve been like, getting really lucky with my book selections lately! I LOVED this book. I was really hesitant to fall into another teenage romance story… so not my thing (even though it secretly totally is.) This book had me hooked from the first page and that doesn’t happen to me very often! A story of what can happen when two completely different paths get crossed. My room mate borrowed the book and read it in just a few days, supposedly it is supposed to be one of the best books of 2014, and it didnt let me down!

Tuesdays Gone- Nicci French: I currently am just starting this book! It will be my spring break read 🙂 Stay tuned for more! The inside cover of the book says “When a London social worker makes a routine home visit, she discovers her psychotic client, Michelle Doyce, serving afternoon tea to a naked, decomposing corpse covered in flies. With no clues as to the man’s identity, testy Detective Chief Inspector Karlsson once again calls on the brilliant, reclusive psychotherapist Frieda Klein to make sense of Michelle’s confused ramblings. Frieda is every bit as sharp as Karlsson and unconventionally talented at stepping into the minds of others, especially the lost souls of this world.” It does go on, but I figure you can find that information yourself 🙂 I’ll post as I read and let you all know how it is!
